The Man behind the Archive

Meet Josef Németh - Photographer. Observer. Storyteller

After fleeing Hungary in 1956, Josef Németh began documenting the world around him with a Leica M3. His photographs capture fleeting moments of everyday life — quiet streets, summer roads, city lights, passing strangers, portraits and self portraits.

Forgotten for more than half a century, his archive has now been rediscovered and shared for the first time.
